A Very Lilly Christmas!

I received this lovely wreath from Preppy Paper Girl and absolutely adore it!  It's perfect for my entryway closet door. :)

Birthday Dinner

Saturday night was a lovely birthday celebration with the bf.  We were also able to celebrate me being done with classes forever! 

First, I got this gorgeous bouquet for the centerpiece.  (Stargazer lillies are my favorites!)

Then we started with cheese and champagne.

After other snacks, we had this fabulous cauliflower soup with scallops.  It was unbelieveable!

We had dessert of red velvet and carrot cake cupcakes after a game of Lillyopoly.

It was a tres parfait birthday.  ;)  Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!

Another Year Older. . .

Oh How I Miss

This lovely lovey home at this time of year.

I feel so fortunate that I got to live here for three glorious years!

Tis the Season for Tartan!

There isn't much I get more excited for than the time of the year in which I can wear lovely plaids and tartans non-stop for a month.

Lately, I've been wearing:

Old J. Crew headbands (they just don't do the holiday plaid in the same way anymore).

My buffalo plaid coat (also from the J. Crew of old).

And I think I'm wearing this older J. Crew top tonight for my birthday surprise from the bf.

Although my old plaid standby J. Crew hasn't been thrilling me lately, I have found a new source of holiday gear.  Luckily, I found some new plaids at Land's End Canvas and could not be happier!

I must try to not wear these shirts every day.  Love them!

And I couldn't resist the black watch dress,

And a matching tie for the bf!

I also bought the bf another plaid item, but it's a surprise for Christmas!

Birthday and Holiday Wishes. . .

My birthday happens to be this week, and I often make a big wish list for my parents for my joint birthday/Christmas.  (My parents are big on surprises, so I always ask for way more than I'll get.)
