Independence Day Inspiration

I am beyond excited for the upcoming long weekend.  The bf and I are going on a mini trip and I am so excited to don my red, white & blue (and possibly bring along some patriotic snacks for the car).  I'm excited to play along with Daphne's Semi Wordless Wednesday today and bop on over to new fun blogs as well as my favorites.

National Wear Your Lilly Day!

Today's the day!

Today the bf wore my his favorite Lilly tie in the pink Jubilee toile with his suit to work.  I told him that if anyone at work knew it was National Wear Your Lilly Day, they'd be very impressed.

How to Wear Lilly to Work!

Tomorrow is National Wear Your Lilly Day!  As tomorrow is a weekday, I thought tips and hints about wearing your Lilly to work may help everyone get ready for tomorrow.

1.  Try a shirtdress!  These work in many offices, and you can include a blazer or cardigan on top.  Add a pair of conservative pumps and pearls.

2.  If you work in a more business casual setting, you may be able to wear lots of your favorite daytime Lilly dresses.  (Just make sure it is long enough and you have a cardigan for office air conditioning!)

Midnight in Paris

This weekend I went to Midnight in Paris.  It was my favorite film this year, and I've seen a lot.  The combination of Woody Allen, Paris, and some historical figures was right up my alley.

Wedding Season

Wedding season is upon us, and I am so excited to be in a wedding this summer.  There are many choices when one is getting married, and I have heard the advice multiple times that couples should prioritize what matters the most to them.  I never really "got" the videographer, but after watching a few of the "I do" films, my mind has been changed.  Thank you, Style Me Pretty, for giving me one more thing to drool over. ;)
