The Ring

I just had to update everyone who hasn't heard yet about the ring now adorning Kate Middleton's very special ring finger.  (A special thank you to my bestie for sending me this link!) You can read more about it here, but Prince William proposed with his mother's 18 carat sapphire and diamond ring.  The happy couple matched beautifully, and the shade of Kate's dress showed off the ring perfectly.



He explained, "It was my way to make sure my mother did not miss out on today and the excitement that we are going to spend the rest of our lives together."  What a wonderful way to remember Princess Diana.

    Eeeeeeee! I just squealed a little at my desk! Can you imagine wearing an 18 carat ring that belonged to Princess Diana?!?! Le sigh. And Will's explanation is just the sweetest.
