Tiffany Does Holiday

I always adore Tiffany's holiday advertisements.  Plus, who isn't a fan of diamonds? (Well, at least diamonds at some age, Holly.)  With today's gorgeous snow and Julie's very exciting announcement, this is the perfect time to sit back, grab a glass of bubbly and gaze at the lovely images of Tiffany's past Christmas advertisements.

Back to Business

I hope everyone had as wonderful of a holiday as I did.  I traveled home to MN with the bf and had a beyond amazing time seeing family.  The trip included:
Driving to Wisconsin to buy some New Glarus Spotted Cow beer that's only available in the state of Wisconsin.  My mom was a bit shocked that my dad thought it was necessary.

Making two family pie recipes from scratch, including pie crusts.  I'll have to have my mom send the recipes as they were super easy and amazing.  One classic pumpkin and an apple/cranberry one with a carmel pecan topping.

Friday the entire family went to Minneapolis for some shopping at Macy's (a tradition that started when it was Dayton's then Marshall Fields) and lunch downtown.  I also bought a new pair of jeans--J Brand bombshells and I love them and they semi make me feel as if I'm in a 1950s movie.  They also are a bit higher rise and not too skinny for work on Fridays.  Maybe it was the fact I forgot to pack pants other than leggings, but on Saturday I bought another pair of pants that I'm absolutely adoring from a random boutique brand.  They are skinny and black and have zippers on the back pockets.  I love wearing things that are a bit of a departure sometimes.

Can't wait to decorate for the holidays (I bought the most ribbon ever this weekend) and get back to business this week.  How was your Thanksgiving and are you struggling like I am to get back to your routine?
