Hodgepodge Monday

Whew!  I cannot believe I flipped open my calendar this week and next Monday is Labor Day!  I also can't believe I haven't been posting at all lately, so this will be a bit of a hodgepodge Monday post.

One of my favorite couples is expecting!  I taped the VMAs and will be watching a bit later, but was so excited to hear that Jay-Z and Beyonce are expecting their first baby together.  I also think Beyonce looks beyond gorgeous in this ensemble.

I had a little too much fun with the Lilly End of Summer Sale.  Can't wait for my new black Shayna to arrive.  I'm hoping I can wear this to a work party with my bestie in October with a fun new murfee without it looking too summery.

I had a work picnic over the weekend at a gorgeous park that was across the street from a beach I have never been to.  My fingers and toes are crossed that this weekend is warm enough for an outing there.

I found out last week I will be the proud aunt and Godmother to a baby nephew!  I had a feeling the baby was a boy, but the ultrasound confirmed my suspicions last week.  I am so excited to meet my brother's Baby Boy in January.

I am attempting to build an updated new work wardrobe.  A few of the J. Crew dresses seem to fit the bill.

My new office is right across the street from Starbucks.  It will be very very trying to avoid getting a pumpkin spice latte daily when they come back next week.

Dreamy Parisian Engagement Session

Pink & Green Autumn Lilly!

 Last night my girlfriend and I raced to Lilly after work.  I was in search of a new planner and possibly something new for fall.  We left drooling over the gorgeousness of everything in the store!  Join Trish and I for a fabulous Pink & Green Thursday full of new Lilly.

Exhausted

Yesterday was my first day of work at my new job.  I had a beyond fabulous weekend that left me very happy and more than a little tired.  Today is my last day of the class I am teaching, and I am attempting to catch up on life a bit tonight before a very long Junior League meeting.

On a side note, I am wearing this today.  Obsessed.

Pink & Green Bachelorette Party

 

I am on my way right now to Wisconsin to help my sorority pledge daughter (or little) celebrate her wedding!  Tomorrow is the big day and I can't wait to stand up with her and participate in her special day.  When I saw this dreamy bachelorette party a couple weeks ago I knew it'd be perfect for Trish's Pink & Green Thursday and is such fab pictures of four friends having a blast!
