A Royal Friday's Fancies

Today's the big day!

I'm joining in the fun for Friday's Fancies--royal wedding edition.  I would wear a gorgeous dress under my long coat, but I wouldn't wear white.  (I'm thinking more champange/nude.)

And of course the outfit wouldn't be complete without pearls!

Tomorrow's the big day and I am oh-so-excited and I have watched at least ten specials already in anticipation.

Easter Weekend

I hope everyone had as wonderful of a weekend as I did!  Mine included:

Friends over for a fabulous dinner on Friday night.

(Omg.  This asparagus soup was so good we had it again on Sunday.)

A call from my sorority little asking me to be a bridesmaid!

Can't wait to see her walk down the aisle in August.

A few games of Trivial Pursuit Steal.  This was really really fun for a trivia geek like me! ;)

A perfect Easter Sunday which included deviled eggs and Easter baskets with the bf.  (And my basket included the new Warblers CD.)

A Very Happy Monday

Today marks many exciting things.

Gossip Girl is back tonight!

And I am absolutely dying to see what transpires between B & Lonely Boy.

Today is the first of three days in a row that I get to see my Junior League besties leading up to Wednesday's event at my local Lilly store! Fingers crossed the perfect graduation dress awaits.

I finished Water for Elephants this weekend and love love loved it.  Can't wait to see the movie.

And I'm having a very good hair day.  (The best part of a rainy day is my naturally curly hair is bouncy and super curly as long as I leave it alone.  I should also note I very rarely leave my hair curly, but rainy Mondays are an exception to this rule.)

First Friday's Fancies

By 4 p.m. today I will be done done done with my thesis!  This means tonight is time to celebrate.  I am having fun today with av's My Friday's Fancies!  The rules are--what would you wear tonight (or sometime this weekend) if money was no object.  I'd love to wear this while sipping on margaritas on a patio somewhere.

Hallway Dilemma

I have a long empty hallway that has been neglected as I haven't thought of an art idea.

Enter Etsy seller Winterberry Cottage. I bought these prints and am hoping to mat them in larger frames.  I will have to update everyone once they're hung.
